Hmm, looks like the wheels could be coming off? They look like they are about to monumentally mug off its Welsh party members (and the people of Wales) by parachuting ex- Tory, English people to sit in the Assembly. Not a problem as such?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-politics-35375025 Had they lived in Wales or shown any interest in the country it wouldn’t be so bad. However, this is a clear example of ex- Tories wanting a nice fat cat salary and a lovely free expenses ticket. Party of the people indeed.
We will be paying for them to travel from Kent every week and putting them up in fancy hotels (that’s unless we buy them a lovely second house down the bay).
What is truly staggering is the party undermining the hard- working party members in Wales who have built the party up from the ground.
It seems many of whom are ready to leave the party.
Vote UKIP, get Tory (because apparently they are the same thing)
By the way, it's Mark Reckless and Neil Hamilton. Google them.

I'm not a UKIP supporter, of course, but I did struggle during the run up to the election with Welsh people supporting UKIP as it was obvious that their manifesto had no real interest in Wales and was very English-centered.
Regardless of the wrongs and rights of UKIP and my personal opinion about them they are certainly not a party for Wales.

Don't understand how anyone in Wales can vote UKIP - where do those that did think we get most of our money from if not the EU?

We put in more than what we get out! This is such a myth you are purporting. We give a load of money each year to the EU and they give us a little bit back. Look it up.
Neil Hamilton is born in Wales and went to university in Aberystwyth. I agree on Reckless, it will be a complete joke if he is chosen first, I believe they decide today.

Vote Plaid get Labour. They will just go into coalition with labour and prop up another 5 years of a government they have criticised and labelled inadequate.

Ex Tory or not.
Still voting UKIP.
What has labour or their coalition partners done for Wales when the steel and coal industry had been destroyed.
NOUGHT........

Exactly. The assembly have done naf all they can't keep blaming Westminster ,they have a budget and could of used some money from that to help but they didn't they would prefer to waste money on vanity projects

The Assembly has been in place for nearly 20 years - in that time there has only ever been a Labour 'Govt' in Wales (apart from a brief time when Plaid held the balance of power and agreed to vot ewith Labour)
So over those 20 odd years - has anything been achieved ? - is there anything Labour at the WAG have done
NHS Wales - Ambulance system appaling, Cancer waiting times take longer, and Labour have cut the NHW in Wales budget.
Education - enough said
Welsh Economy - getting worse not better
TIME FOR A CHANGE FOLKS - LET SOMEONE ELSE HAVE A GO.
I watched the debate between Carwyn Jones and Nigel Farage - Jones lost badly.
I wont be voting Labour in the elections - but I still think people in Wales are dumb enough to vote Jones back in.
As for new AM's - we need some fresh blood and ideas down there - as the AMs we do have are spending their time with petty pathectic political squabbling.
JONES OUT

PS - The Assembly Members just got a 15% pay rise !!!! remeber that when they come knocking on your door

I don't believe supporters of any party agree 100% with all their policies.
One thing you can be sure of is that Plaid will give 100% to Wales! Every policy will be drawn out with the people of Wales in mind. Look what happened in Scotland after the SNP got a change to deliver for their people! There won't be any issues with the 'London party' as you get with the others. It'll be Wales, Wales, Wales in health, education...everything.
As for Ukip, does anyone on here really believe that they give a toss about Wales? The assembly election is just another PR opportunity for them.
I honestly believe that Plaid have chance of gaining power in the Assembly election and that would be a great day for Wales.

You need to read a bit more mate.Whatever your beef with the Labour Party the Tories would let us starve. In the 1930's the then Tory government had to be shamed into helping the welsh by the King who after spending time in Wales saw the conditions we lived in.Unfortunatly unless those guys want to work for a bag of rice a month the steel industry is finished.I think the Labour Party is probably in the worst state its ever been in at the moment but would prefer them to The Tories who with the tax credit changes they are making are shafting the very people that voted them in.

How can you make such a spurious claim? You do realise that UKIP achieved 20k more votes than them across Wales in the general election last year and beat them in almost every seat in the valleys? There are 11 Tory MPs in Wales compared to 3 Welsh Mps, Plaid are irrelevant to most of Wales. They even have less AMs than the Tories!
If Plaid get enough seats they will put Labour back in, I want Labour out at all costs. 20 years is too long for one party to rule for. I can't stand the hypocrisy from Plaid, they say Labour have done a really bad job but will then jump into bed with them ensuring another five years of bullshit.

UKIP have gained on fear.
Some of it possibly justified although some of their ideas are doomed before they start.
The shite parties and Plaid have missed a crucial point is that Wales, whilst being the arse end of England and treated accordingly, understands that migration en mass like this is killing communities, affecting services, creating dual societies and prejudices.
Ultimately it is unsustainable - slag of welsh language sign posts but give millions to teach foreign people english FFS. Spend billions on ant terrorism, integration, police, services, dole, housing, schools, places of worship etc, but lose bedrock jobs in towns like Port Talbot whilst doing a deal with china in the same week for cheap steel cos china desperate to sell it.
Instead of the shite parties and Plaid, saying eveyrone is a racist for not giving food, board and lodging to any c**t who wants it, they should understand the it is impossible to maintain the demand of overfilling this small island.
Welsh people are now a smaller minority than muslims in UK, yet we continue to get shafted while we bend over backwards for these 'good' muslims!
We worked in shite and grafted underground to feed the machine for decades, we fought and died for the machine too. give us some fuckin respect mun.

PLAID FFS - do me a favour - last week they wanted the WAG to invest 1 BILLION pounds into Tata Steel (a private company based in India that is losing 1 million pounds a DAY in Port Talbot). Never once thought about would they get OUR money back, is there any demand for the product that Port Talbot is making.
What Plaid also didnt realise is that in the USA they stopped Chinese imports of cheap steel - in the EU - they have let it all in.
Plaid have the economical mind set of a second rate socialist dictator
EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THIS IF THEY HAVE 1 HOUR TO SPARE

Spinks you are wrong. Port Talbot's TA TA order books are full as I type. This morning my brother was asked along with his shift to work overtime just to get the orders out. Before making wild unfounded statements get your facts strait. The problems lie elsewhere.
