Are Bristol City about to drop Macheda interest?

According to The Bristol Post, Bristol City may be about to switch their attentions to Fulham’s Matt Smith in their January hunt for a new striker.

The Robins had been linked with a move for Federico Macheda last week but interim manager John Pemberton appears keen to link up with former loanee Smith, who netted 13 times in 23 appearances while at Ashton Gate.
