Why do always have such difficulties getting these deals over the line?

Remember Jody Morris, Marcus Bent, that New Zealand striker and numerous other players who were on the verge of signing for us but then it never happened.

In fairness I don't think we particularly lost out with any of them but the point remains that whilst this is all out in the open now there could be any number of clubs who will be looking to hijack this move.

Very frustrating.

I'd much prefer if the first we heard of it was when the player was pictured holding the shirt having completed the signing.

Might be that Football League and FFP need to make sure it fits within restrictions.

Whitts is pretty much on the bench now
Ralls / Pilks / Noone - all playing well

Unless he is to replace Pilks who is on now our main striker perhaps ?

I'd rather we spend what little money we have on a recognised striker - as that's where we have the biggest problem - other than the manager

We certainly do but its funny every player City have supposedly gone after and the clubs say they have have all been put out in the press and then none of signed lately

Cardiff will issue a statement tomorrow stating that they have never been interested in signing Immers nor have they been in contact with Feyenoord

Celtic are hijacking the deal as we speak.
