QPR have signed striker Conor Washington from Peterborough for £3million on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

Newport County will receive £500,000 after inserting a 20% sell on clause when he moved to Peterborough United.

NEWPORT SET FOR WINDFALL

Some more now on that move which has seen Conor Washington move from Peterborough to QPR.

Wales Online is reporting his former club Newport County are set to receive £500,000 as part of the deal having inserted a 20 per cent sell-on clause into his transfer to London Road two years ago.

Good business by Newport. Maybe they could lay a new pitch with the profits it's shocking.

Great for us fan owned and in now money in the bank and in the black. Maybe not a great stadium or a rich benefactor. Like you guys. Just saying like X

Re County bounty I wish we were still at Ninian Park the old school grounds are the best. Yea we have a new stadium but atmosphere is funeral like. Ha ha.

FairPlay, QPR signed this guy for 3 million and Austin went for 4 million.. mad to think obviously taking the situation into account with wages and contract but still this guy has a lot to prove at QPR.
