' Financial Fair Play '

Any ITKs have info on how we got into this mess?

To be fair to the Club they offloaded loads of high earners and got substantial fees for Medel, Caulker, Mutch etc. With our parachute payments I would have thought that we might have been ok.

How does it work?

Wages as a percentage of income? And what exact period does it apply to? :bluescarf:

Its all from last season in the Championship, All Laurel and Hardy's spending  No seriously its Tan and Ole's spending in the Championship last season.

City's out goings are way to high compared to their income.

Simple our turnover (all of our income) for example £40m we can not spend more than £46m (£6m loss). If income was £30m then maximum spend £36m and so on.

How did we get in this mess?

If K Jones was really on £35k per week that works out at £1.8m per year on ONE players wages. Apparently at one time we have 49 professionals at the club so it isn't hard to work out where the vast majority of the money was spent.

You make it sound simple so why was no one in a senior position keeping an eye on the maths I wonder??

Cheers. So if it was all based on the spending last season then is it the case that nothing could have been done this season by Tan or Choo to fix the problem? :bluescarf:

The Club poured some doubt on the justification for an embargo. They seem to suggest they have grounds to challenge or doubt the ruling. Is there any chance that if we can prove no wrong-doing that the FL can overturn the embargo soon? :bluescarf:
