Mon Jan 18, 2016 10:26 pm

I just heard a very very unlikely rumour that City are going for Ched, anyone heard anything?

Can sign him due to being a free agent. Might still know where the goal is
Don't have any fans to lose since it's empty down there anyway and no one really cares for us.
Bring him in lads

Read up on him last night.

His appeal is still outstanding. Can't find a date for when it is due. Talking of due his partner gave birth a few days ago so the guy is a dad now.

Anyway regarding the football I agree with 48 above. He has been away from the game a while now so must be rusty. Saying that he looks like he has kept himself in good shape. While out in Bosnia one or two guys mentioned how Wales are missing that striker. A few reckon we have one in waiting in Evans. It was one of those statements where no one replied to.

This is obviously a no go.
There a difference between looking in shape and playing football in a championship game. Would take months to get up to speed.

He would take months to get back in shape to play professional football.

Although Slade's "one for the future" policy might come in to play here.
He could go in to the development team for a year or two.

I think he has suffered enough and it would take a strong club to allow him to train with them. All the clubs shit scared of the backlash
