I think he is starting to believe the hype. He looks useless on tonight's performance and could have put his partner away a few times, but tried to go through the defender.

Deeney's game this season has been all about pressing the opposing centre backs, not giving them time to settle and running them into the ground. It's now getting to the stage of the season where he's burnt out and needs a rest.
