Agree! He always comes central when playing on the wing and can leave us exploited

They say necessity is the mother of invention and that certainly proved the case for Slade and his Bluebirds at Wolves. With a transfer embargo in place, the Tony Watt deal dead, Slade had to think on his feet. The big decision was to play Pilkington up-front with Joe Mason. Ostensibly a winger, Pilkington does have the No.10 role in his locker and it showed.
He had a good game at Molineux, most importantly acting as a good conduit to bringing others into the game when the Bluebirds were breaking forward. Is it a long term fix? We can only wait and see, but Slade made the changes and got the reward for it. It all reminds me of former boss Dave Jones, who was another manager who seemed to find his best side when it was forced upon him. Wales’ international Chris Gunter might not have had a career at all if Jones had not been forced into playing him. The rest is history for the defender.
The question is, what potential hero now lurks within the Cardiff squad?
