A forum for all things Cardiff City

I was chatting to a City player after the Hull away game and he showed me on his phone that this Forum was one of his favourites, so I asked if others look and he said "Yes they do on the way home from away games, they read the City fans comments/write ups and yes they do look at what City fans say about them individually".

It would be good to ask one of them to come on here as themselves, but i doubt the club would allow it or some of our posters have the emotional intelligence to allow it.

I would be great if they did have the right to reply saying how footballing dull some of our 1980's dungeon kick and rush fans are. "Get it forward mun"

Could imagine this would be someone along the lines of Matthew Connolly, has a proper interest in the club and the supporters.

He has been very strong this season, very good at last ditch tackles and blocks which has saved us a few times this season.

Or its the reason we play crap sometimes. We're a good passing side now which we haven't been for a long time. We should appreciate it. Of course we're not perfect but still, lets enjoy supporting our team.
When I played football I lost confidence if someone said I had a bad game so just because they're on big bucks it doesn't mean they don't get affected.
Ps that whole response wasn't aimed at u lol I just carried on writing.

No actually, Id like him to read how tame he has become it might make him shape up a bit and stop playing like a sweeper!

Because they read this forum it doesn't mean they take any notice of what's said.

Although something drastic happened between Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon

There was a game this season where our bus went passed the City bus a few times to allow the lads and kids to do the normal ayatollah to the City players. NONE of them even lifted their heads except for Russell Slade at the front of the bus who did the ayatollah to the delight of everyone.
The players must have been so tied down with the Cardiff City Forum that they couldn't even look out of the window
On to a past player now - Does anyone know when Kev McNaughton's testimonial is going to take place? It has taken ages to sort out now!

For quite some time now I've noticed that the team performed better when the Babes'n'Boobs thread was on here. So before the Wolves game, I emailed some of the original photos from the thread (which I keep solely for the purpose of research of course) to Paul Trollope, who used them as part of the pre-match preparation. And just look what happened. So100% proof that smut wins games and for this reason, it should be reinstated with immediate effect.

Fair play to them.
No point shying away from criticism. If they want to be a professional footballer, they need to take the negatives just as much as the positives.
