Slade substitutions

Was the real Slade replaced by an imposter today? 
Substitutions were excellent.
Shored up the midfield by removing a striker (Mason) and replacing him with a defensive midfielder (Dikgacoi), took Whitts off when he began to run out of steam and put fresh legs on with Fabio, and wasted time during added on time and slowed the game down by putting like for like Revell on for Pilkington to try to hold the ball up.
