" WAS THIS RUSSELL SLADES REPRIEVE? AS CITY SENT 1,000 FANS AWAY IN RAPTURES "

For me this was a different Cardiff City team from recent weeks, it was full of energy, passion and fight today :ayatollah:
I honestly really enjoyed today and the game ended up with passion from the team and our Fans :ayatollah:

City today totally deserved the win :ayatollah:

WOLVES 1 CARDIFF CITY 3 :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Crowd 24,238 Away Support over 1,000 City fans

CARDIFF CITY Team: Marshall, Peltier, Manga, Malone, Connolly, Noone, O'Keefe, Ralls, Whittingham, Pilkington & Mason.

Subs: Moore, Fabio, Dikgacoi, Kennedy, Ameobi, Revell & Macheda.

With news out that Cardiff City had been put under a Transfer Embargo,City fans had arrived in a sombre mood.

Cardiff City travelled to Wolves knowing that they needed nothing less than a win to keep not only the City fans off Slades back, but also Cardiff City's Hierarchy . This match was being dubbed Russell Slades last stand.

To be fair the City team came out with some fight in them and in the 20th min Okeefe hit the crossbar .
Wolves were counter attracting and were running down the wing where Peltier was getting beat time and time again.

In the 24th min City got away with murder when Masin brought down a Wolves player for a penalty, thankfully the Ref waved on :ayatollah:

Bang in the 30th minute a Craig Noone shot 0-1 City :ayatollah:

Then in the 37th Craig Noone with his left foot top right hand corner 0-2 City :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Marshall then in the 42nd minute failed to hold a shot and Wolves from the rebound scored 1-2

Half -Time Wolves 1 City 2

City came out and attacked Craig Noone later it on to Joe Ralls 1-3 City :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

75th min Joe Mason who had,had a brilliant games was replaced by Dikgacoi

85th min Fabio came on for Whittingham

City were well worth their win :ayatollah:

My man of the match Craig Noone :ayatollah:

Wolves 1 City 3

Up next Rotherham home next Saturday :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Annis the players probably all want away, it's in their interest to get results and manage transfers away from this shit hole of mess run club we have!

Annis that is a great win today :ayatollah:

I'm no fan of Slade, and despite not being there today due to work, I still have no faith in him.

But have to give him credit today for changing the tactics.

After a difficult week on the pitch, but especially off the pitch, very good to get this win.

Sorry, I can't agree. Not with the way the players were toward the fans before and after the match. It looks like they are up for it.

Well done and super pleased for all you fans that keep on sticking with it and show what great support we still have. Thanks a bunch.

Buzzing for the Rotherham game now... Could this be the turning point?

One thing I would like to say, is I am surprised Pilkington isn't used centrally more often. He's very dangerous through the middle. I would play Fabio, Declan or Whitts (if in form) on the left. We need more directness and pace in the team.
