Used to working in difficult circumstances tbf, but unless he is planning on playing Revell there is no Bothroyd type hold up figure he likes so the squad isn't really there for him to use. But probably still better than Slade.

I'd go with Jay Bothroyd's opinion and get Bellamy.

I agree with all that ! Like him or loathe him Jones gave us the best football, even if it wasn't,ultimately, the most successful.

I actually think his time was up and left at the right time but he'd certainly get this squad playing better then Slade will ever do.

This squad is still stronger than the one that got to the FA Cup or Play-off Final and the Championship is weaker.

I don't know why we need to look back, DJ was a good manager but his disrespect of the fans and our derby games infuriated me. Without doubt we are due some tougher times before it gets better, but hey that's when we are at our best isn't it?

I'd go with Bellers. We're not going to get relegated. Perfect time for him to cut his teeth and get the team going before next season. What have we got to lose? He is young and hungry looking to prove himself and probably a reasonably cheap managerial option. He will also immediately grab the respect of the players. Doubt if it will happen but it would be my choice for what it's worth.

If Bellamy wants it, give him the job.

He'd create a buzz amongst the fans, and the local media. He'd bring some passion to the dugout again. And without question, he'd bring an attacking brand of football to the club again.

You can guarantee that he'd use our youth players too. I'm not entirely convinced he'd want to spend too much money on transfers, if I'm honest.

Hmmmm Annis IMO he appeared to be both arrogant and lazy however speaking from a professional side what he and his family were put through would give you that edge.

I met him once and he was quiet and I asked him if what he had gone through had made him wary and insular to other people and he said yes.

I will point out that his sides always had flair and attacking style and were worth watching and he found some nuggets you have to admit.

As for a nearly man, well he certainly took us places on such a shallow budget and how he would have wished to have had the money MM did. He wouldn't have wasted it that's for sure.

Lastly we have been a nearly club since he went so if he was offered interim manager I would have no qualms about it.

It's about time this Club, team and supporters were given optimism to pull together

We had great times under DJ, but that's history, never go back, it never works out. There area ton of current managers out there, who would do a far better job, than the current clown
