Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman has this evening confirmed that Cardiff City will appeal against the transfer embargo imposed by the FL

Dalman says "after a meeting this evening with our 4 financial experts we have decided to launch an appeal against what we believe is an unjust ban"

Dalman continued "I and Ken Choo attended a meeting this evening with our 4 financial and tax experts Arthur Daley..Forest Gump..Ken Dodd and Del Boy Trotter. Together we have put together a plan to get us out of this mess"

Ken Choo added "so confident are we of our cunning plan that we e-mailed it to Financial Guru Peter Risdale for his thoughts"

Choo continued "Peter was literally gob smacked with some of our ideas..in fact he wept with joy when we told him of our brilliant plan to save £2 million by not paying our income tax or vat...a big thank you to Ken Dodd and Del Boy for that pearler added Dalman"

"So confident are we of this plan we have this evening given Russell Slade the go ahead to extend Alex Revells contract by another 5 years to head off transfer speculation from numerous conference clubs" said Choo
