' THE VINCENT TAN CIRCUS AT CARDIFF CITY '

When Vincent Tan took over our club Cardiff City,it was said on numerous occasions that "Cardiff City would be run more professionally and on a safe and sound financially footing." These were the words of Vincent and his CEO'S.

Tan also stated he would leave this club in a better postion and we would never have to worry again, our debt under Tan went from £28million to £140million :o

We have had 6 CEO'S under Vincent Tan and still they and Tan could not run our club proffesionally.

Vincent Tan, Ken Choo and Dalman would of known this was coming for ages, yet we were told that our manager would be backed and our club was going in the right direction,in my opinion all lies.

We have had more than 5 years of nothing but a circus, which has not only broken our club, its divided it,stolen its soul, had its identity removed and we are the laughing stock once again in football with a Transfer Embargo.

Season tickets are down by 13,000 in the last 2 years, crowds at an all time low in this new stadium and now this, this will hurt season ticket sales even more.

Many of us could see all this coming, but were told by others move on,Tan runs it more professionally and we want his money, before,Pride and Passion, it makes me sick

Surely Nobody can support or back Vincent Tan now?

Cardiff City: Transfer embargo handed to Championship club

BBC

15th Jan 2016

Cardiff City have been placed under a transfer embargo by the Football League following a breach of Financial Fair Play rules.
The Bluebirds become the fourth Championship club currently under a transfer embargo, joining Bolton, Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

The embargo will be in place for the rest of the January transfer window.

Cardiff say they "have complied with the FFP requirements for season 2014-15 - contrary to the League's position."
A Bluebirds statement added: "As such, further advice will be sought, prior to a decision being made internally as to whether or not an appeal will be lodged."

BBC Wales Sport understands the breach relates to Cardiff's debts but chairman Mehmet Dalman said: "It's a technical interpretation of a specific clause that we seem to be differing with and we'll continue to argue that point."
The club's statement added: "Whilst extremely disappointed that the Football League has decided to take this action, we will remain co-operative and compliant with the League's position in respect of FFP.

I wonder how Tan will save face now?
People talk about his culture and reputation. Well it must be pretty poor now.
Perhaps his mother can bail him out again.

He has lied, cheated and basically run this club into the ground. Building up huge debts for the club.

he has different agendas and if he was any kind of a reputable businessman , as he claims, he should say what is plans are. He just continues to ridicule the name of CCFC - embarrassing

Cardiff placed under transfer embargo by Football League
• Championship club will be unable to sign players in January
• Punishment relates to alleged breach of Financial Fair Play rules

The Guardian

Cardiff manager Russell Slade has significantly reduced playing costs since being appointed in October 2014.

Friday 15 January 2016

Cardiff have been placed under a Sky Bet Football League transfer embargo for a breach of Financial Fair Play rules.

The embargo will be in place for the rest of the January transfer window and will see them lose out on a permanent deal for £1m target Tony Watt, although the Charlton striker’s loan deal could be extended after their Championship visit to Wolves on Saturday.

Cardiff, who were relegated from the Barclays Premier League at the end of the 2013-14 season, say they “have complied with the FFP requirements for season 2014-15 - contrary to the League’s position”.

Bluebirds boss Russell Slade has significantly reduced playing costs since being appointed in October 2014, with the club’s biggest earners having been moved on.

“Whilst extremely disappointed that the Football League has decided to take this action, we will remain co-operative and compliant with the League’s position in respect of Financial Fair Play,” said a Cardiff statement.

“Having fully disclosed all matters in respect of our FFP position for 2014-15 and having taken independent expert advice, it is our firmly-held view that Cardiff City Football Club has indeed complied with the FFP requirements for season 2014-15 - contrary to the League’s position.

“As such, further advice will be sought, prior to a decision being made internally as to whether or not an appeal will be lodged.

“The embargo, now in place (albeit subject to possible appeal), will stay in effect for the remainder of the January 2016 transfer window.

“Cardiff City Football Club again expects to trade within the set FFP limits for 2015/16 and therefore anticipates full participation in the summer 2016 transfer window.”

well, the problem is that owners who clubs run as successful businesses like newcastle, manchester united and so on tend to be very unpopular as they don't spend every penny they have on players.

cardiff city football club is like most other clubs in the championship and the premier league. that is, no clear long term plan, with managers coming and going every season. and for the most part, a fickle fan base that aint interested in a product that isn't entertaining them.

as for the debt, we can't complain. we as fans demand that money is spent. can you imagine if a couple more good players left the club this window and weren't replaced, and slade had to dip in to the youth team to make up the numbers? attendances may even dip below 10,000.

Slade won't be here after a couple of games hope he goes after Wolves and let the new manager bed in the youth with modern tactics and we need to adopt a philosophy at the club that's whats really needed at the moment.

Some honesty Neil please?

It's a two way thing mate. The club treat the fans like they are wanted and are part of the club and they will stay around. Speak of them like replaceable statistics and watch them drop off... It's a huge combination of things with attendances but people don't like to be mugged off at the end of the day and as ccfc fans that's what we have been.

Why are Cardiff City under a transfer embargo?

The Bluebirds have been banned from signing players by the Football League for breaking rules on Financial Fair Play and will continue to be stopped from paying fees for permanent deals until they convince League officials they are falling in line with the regulations.

Never said he has Annis. However he isn't the first and won't be the last. We were under transfer embargoes under Ridsdale for non payment of debts and had these rules existed when Sam was owner would have been then too.

Of course we are losing money. I almost put a post on this morning about what will we think if this happened to us next year. I'm amazed we didn't get it when the others did.

Re: ' THE VINCENT TAN CIRCUS AT CARDIFF CITY '

Debt to equity would of been a good idea don't you think 4 years in the making and its still not done.

We all no ccfc have been working hard to comply with the financial rules which is why slade has had to reduce the playing squad to comply which is why really he hasn't actually done a bad job considering his budget.

At this time I think Tan needs to make a statement to show what his plans are for ccfc in the near and long term future.

Many mistakes have been by ccfc and Tan is the owner so the buck in all these failings has to stop with him.

Tan somehow has to bring the fans back and give the club a lift and its only that thing called money that can do it.

TAN needs to show a renewed interest as at pressen he seems to of lost total care or interest in us its time for him to finally sort it or move on and give someone else a go
