' Russel Slade on the gap to the play-offs '

Cardiff City are seven points off the play-offs - Brighton occupy the final place - after defeat at Hull but Slade is upbeat about the Bluebirds’ chances of making the top six.
Slade said:
You lose and it becomes increasingly difficult. It’s important to get a result. That’s what it’s about. Life is about challenges and overcoming them. That’s what makes it worthwhile. The timing would be good now to get a run together. Back to back wins now would be huge. That would give us confidence and wins do that. We can do it, we have done it in the past and we can do it again.
We have to be efficient, ruthless in both boxes. We can’t mark sloppily, can’t give corners away. We need strong defending. At the other end we need to be creative and ruthless in the box. We have to take chances which we’ve not always done. Recently that has cost us dearly.

Talk is always easy,all managers do it,getting what they actually talk about separates the decent ones from the poor.

Playoffs!!! why doesn't he just talk about the weather or something.Doesn't he realise we are a pile of shit at the moment and he hasn't got the answer how to get us out of it.

We have no realistic chance of getting in the play offs so he does not have to worry about that

Until it is mathematically impossible, then all fans should HOPE we can do it and get behind the team and the manager.

How can a team be ruthless in the box when they are hardly ever playing in the opposition box
