A forum for all things Cardiff City

Midfielder Solomon Taiwo has left Margate.
The 30-year-old has struggled to earn a regular spot this season, and having now recovered from injury, the former Cardiff City man has parted company with the club.
He signed from Dover Athletic in the summer, and was a regular fixture at the start of the season, being the man to end a five-game run without a goal when he scored a free-kick at Concord Rangers.
He also netted in Gate's first home league win of the season against Havant & Waterlooville, but injury and loss of form affected his Gate spell.
He has returned to full fitness but has been unable to force his way into the Gate side under Nikki Bull, so the decision has been made for him to leave, halfway through his one-year deal.
Boss Bull said: "We had a chat on Saturday and decided he either had to move on or stay here. It's a shame it didn't work out for him. The way we're playing I need all of my midfielders to get around the pitch. He does a very similar role to David Hunt in midfield."
