Someone Give Steve Clarke a Bell

and ask him if he wants to manage a selling club with no desire to succeed at anything football related for the foreseeable future, so we just need him to be a good PR man and be able to do what Slade lacks...which is management ability.
Contract Clause - Must sell 3 players per window all whilst trying to keep us up.

I think that's a great shout. I believe Clarke would be a good choice given time to introduce his methods

Clarke is a good manager, make no mistake about that.

Would be a decent appointment.

he's a proven coach, but not a proven manager, yet. it would be a bit of a gamble.

Obviously, Steve Clarke wouldn't join us on those terms. No decent manager would join us on those terms. Slade has had to put up with all this and it's a miracle he's kept us challenging for the playoffs until now.

We're finally starting to slide away because of our lack of strength in depth which is Tan's fault, but everyone is blaming Slade and wanting him out. It's sad. What can ANY manager do working under these circumstances?

Because Slade has offloaded player after player this season to cut costs. Tan broke his promise of allowing Slade to bring in the centre midfielder he wanted in the summer window and we are severely lacking options in the striker department because Doyle and Le Fondre were loaned out to cut costs, Kenwyne has been let go to cut costs and Tan still won't allow Slade to bring in a striker to replace them.

What about Lee Clark ?
He's used to fighting to keep sinking ships going.

Justin Edinburgh would be my choice, but would he move his family ?

Mowbray is another mentioned I'd be OK with.

Can't see most of the other names mentioned being interested... Pearson , Poyet, Moyes, Warnock, Redknapp ( yes believe it or not I've seen it mentioned) etc..

Zola is available I think but no chance their either

I'd be OK with Chris Powell as well .

Nigel Clough perhaps ?

Just putting some more realistic names out there for you to chew over
