Considering Sheffields past problems and the amount of money involved, they could have been a bit more supportive. Looks like just sticking the knife in.

Do you think? I would call it sensible and safeguarding their cash. There would be zero impact on Bolton fans.

correct, its just standard business practice to demand up front payment if a business is going under. otherwise its essentially a donation to Bolton Wanderers.
not directed to you, but instead of directing your thoughts to a couple of hundred fans who had what i'm sure was the degrading, humiliating experience of paying on the door instead of online, why not spare a thought to the ordinary tradesmen and local businesses who have little to no prospect of being paid any time soon? the fans can go home and switch off from the crisis, the businesses cannot.
