' Simple Question? '

Why do other teams quietly get on with signing players , yet we havnt managed one signing ?

All I ever read is this club signs etc etc

Because other clubs have a structure in place with good scouts and contacts with agents. Then they have either a manager, director of football or transfer committee who decide on players and what they will pay for them......what the hell do we have ????? does the manager decide.....have we got a director of football.....a committee.....and after all that Tan probably has to have the final say. By then the horse has bolted or agents dont even want to bother with us in the first place.

DO THEY ANNIS? I presume you or others dont look at all other clubs fans message boards? so lots could have same problems we encounter recruiting players, after all only completed deals tend to be put up on here, not the rumours ect ect

Other than Watt I do not think we will sign anyone.

We huff and puff to keep fans happy but we are going nowhere, we are being sold a pup.

Will keep on clearing out players though to reduce costs.

but we do seem to have problem with rumours especially on here so hard to know fact from fiction?

tbh no idea doubt any since beginning of season but guess lots of clubs havnt either like said
you can highlight exsamples but thats small amount in relation to 92 clubs there are, and derby seem to have signed 99% of championship signings!!!

We have so many full time professionals we forget who we have....

I have written this season off, realistically we need four or five out and Watt in.

Allan, My honest opinion/belief, I don't think since Slades been there, we have ever really offered more than £300,000,since Eoin Doyle was signed and a lot is bullshit from media and our club.
Plus this season, I honestly don't believe we have offered to buy any players yet and I hope Watt will be at least the first.

Which tells me the Board do not believe in Slade when it comes to buying after the Revell,Doyle signings etc etc

Because no one wants to play for Russell Slade who lets be honest is League 1 at best and I don't blame the players for not working under Slade

Let's be honest there are far better clubs to go to than Cardiff at the moment my opinion

in a 96 hours time we'll know our league fate, why rush in....

1 point in the next 2 games and even the most optimistic fans realize its too big a gap to bridge.

Because they haven't got a transfer committee made up of people who know nothing about football

99% of the "we are signing Miguel Kickabout from Melchester Rovers" posts are a load of old balls, most of the signings we have made have come out of thin air, long gone are the days when a club employee would sing like a canary. I was sat in St Mellons Country Club a few years ago while my child was having a swimming lesson and overhead one of these employees loudly telling several people what was going on behind the scenes. If I was his employer and I had found out I would have sacked him. Tan and his crew are a lot of things, but what really goes on at the club they keep behind closed doors. The Echo boys know F all as well, the crap they peddle is laughable! Some of the rumours people quote on here come from the Twitter feed of some faceless spotty teen writing nonsense in his bedroom. Roll on the end of the transfer window I say!

I don't think anyone who would improve the team would want to play under slade. he needs to go now if we any chance to make some good signings in this window.

Other teams, declare interest, make offer, agree personal terms, player signs!

We've had problems for a long time even before Slade! Look at the montero deal, wanyama, capoue etc... Sometimes I believe clubs use us to open negotiations with other clubs!

Then again who would really want to sign for us at the moment! Yes we are 7 points off the play offs we are also just 6 points of 18th!!!

I dont think we have any intention to sign some of the players mentioned. We got to many players to start with at the club picking up a wage doing nothing, and until there offloaded to free up the wage bill I can't see Tan if he still is interested dipping into his pockets plus the board doesn't seem to have any faith in Slade unless it's some freebie youngster for the development team.
