Thats an interesting point Gareth. I was wondering how FA cup gate receipts pan out now. Im sure in the past It used to be a 50/50 split. Has it now changed?

Both clubs get 45% of gate receipts with the other 10% going to FA. Not sure if it's before or after costs (police/stewards).

What should happen to give a fair distribution of income would be for all gate receipts and tv money from the round to go into a huge pot and be split between all the teams in the round.
