Last nights game

The result is the horrific thing about it all than anything else.

Personally I felt we played ok and if a neutral was watching the game they would have said our quality shone out. However you would have expected that with who we were playing against.

Another thing the neutral would have said is that Ameobi showed signs of quality and would shine a lot more in a better team.

What the neutral would have said also is that our failing was our strike force. If you would have mentioned that Macheda and Revel were the last in line of the strikers we have that would have not come as a surprise to them. Even so they would have replied those 2 should have done better against what they were up against.

So summing up the strikers let us down and we all know why they are not getting picked and why we are trying to off load them. Our real problem though is getting a replacement. That is not the easiest thing in the world to do this time of year. Even more so with the state the club is in.
