Are the board happy with Slade

Sun Jan 10, 2016 10:01 pm

They cannot be happy with this clown can they?

Yes hes cut costs but at what sacrifice? Gate down by thousands every game that passes. How many will renew next season with the dire football on display?

Anyone in the know hear the top brass are happy with Slade or they ready to get rid?

Hopefully Dalman and Choo are begging Tan to get rid of Slade now as we speak.

Dalman and Choo can say what they like there's only one man who decides what happens and he does not give a shit any more as long as costs are being cut and we're not in danger of being relegated.

He couldn't care less - that much is perfectly obvious I'm afraid.

Most probably right sadly. Tan should make his intentions known imo.

Ive spoken to both Dalman and Choo and both are not Slade fans.

Tan won't listen.

Hopefully Tan notices that he is loosing more money from rapidly low attendances like this time last year with the back to blue he gets rid of Slade.

I thought Tan was meant to be a good business man?
He needs to bring people in to bail him out or his reputation will be on the line.
Wish he would feck off tbh.

He is, he's just so clueless on football, yet because he's not use to being told and is very stubborn, he appointed Slade so he will stand by him this season.

He was stubborn on the change back to blue and maybe and it can be the same about Slade he just needs to speak to his mother. :laughing6:

Shame he cannot see his own failings. Different culture i guess because that kind of management does not usually work in the West :sladeout:

I think you're absolutely right. Slade was appointed because he was probably the only manager prepared to take the job while the squad was being dismantled. That job has probably been completed now but while there is no threat of relegation Slade will stay until the end of the season.

This season for me has gone, there is no way we will make the play offs unless a miracle happens.
I accept that slade is contracted to the end of the season but Tan will have a decision to make if he wants to sell any season tickets for next season. If he sticks with Slade then he must know he will struggle to sell a thousand, alternatively if he wishes to maximize sales he'll need to get the new managers name out there ASAP. Unfortunately my gut feeling is that he is being vindictive after our victory in getting back to blue and he is willing to keep the club in this vegatitive state as a cheaper option than putting any more funds in. Our only hope is someone offers him a sale he finds acceptable while we are still a championship club.

I think the sales will continue tbh

I actually wouldn't be surprised if our attendance hit over the 20k mark in the first game where a new manager comes in...
It's a no brainer. The vast majority of our fans can't stand Slade being in charge here. We pay decent money to be 'treated' to that tripe on the pitch :sladeout:

I agree problem is they'll be back for a game or two then find another excuse to not go,remember how many said they'd return if was in blue, and we had a good crowd that day against fulham, where are they now? They've gave up and that's something the club will never reverse

Spot on Reza. They came back for the Fulham game and the place was bouncing but they have gone again now. You just have to laugh at the pathetic excuses from the majority of them.
I was looking back on our home win against Man City in the Premiership and the place was bouncing and packed to the rafters... It really is a poor show these days. Very depressing!
