" It's an ownership issue and how the club is being run "

Sun Jan 10, 2016 9:50 pm

Former Wales striker Ian Walsh on BBC Radio Wales:

There were so many individuals in the team - they are not playing for Cardiff City they are playing for themselves. It was such a disjointed performance.

But it's not a Russell Slade issue, it's an ownership issue and how the club is being run.

The club is slowly becoming the joke of the Championship. But with a bit of forward thought, they wouldn't be far away from getting to the Premier League.

A little bit of money spent and determination in January, and you never know what can happen. But I just don't think the board have got the guts for it to push this club forward again

Fed up of people making excuses for Slade of course it's his issue.

He's the one picking the team and tactics.

Problem is where does the 'little bit of money' come from?

Parachute payments won't last forever and the club has to ready itself for the day when they stop.

Agree with Ian Walsh in principle but would like to add slades time still has the quality on paper for a top 6 finish his inability to manage the team shows. The team last night played exactly the same way as the first team slow 442 formation with no final 3rd it's boring dire football.
Wash I believe is bang on I agree with him but slade has his problems big ones

Normally I disagree with Walsh as I can't stand his bias towards the jacks. However in this case he is spot on.

I started listening to his rubbish earlier.
He started off by going on about Kenwyne Jones, that was enough, he clearly hasn't got a clue.

It would be nice if they had an expert who realised that the club has got to balance its books and got realistic.

I actually agree with everything he says, he's spot on in my opinion.

Tim, The main problem is our owner Vincent Tan and I 100% stand by that.

Nothing anyone else says will change my mind on this, Ive seen it for myself.
