Steve Bruce rested the majority of his midfield for their FA Cup clash with Brighton and the big names such as Ahmed Elmohamady, David Meyler, Jake Livermore and Sam Clucas will return.
The Tigers have managed to keep hold of a number of big names following their relegation from England’s top division and it’s paying off. Uruguayan international Abel Hernandez has been a massive help for the Tigers, the former Palermo striker signed for Hull for around £10 Million just over a year ago and remains a key player, scoring eleven goals.

The Opposition
Hull City Association Football Club is a professional association football club based in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1904. The club participates in The Championship – the second tier of English football – and their greatest achievement in cup competitions came in 2014, when the team reached the final of the FA Cup.[2] In 2007–08 they achieved promotion to the top flight of English football for the first time in their history by winning the Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium. Their highest league finish was for the 2013–14 season, in which they finished 16th in the Premier League table.
Hull City play their home games at KC Stadium. They previously played at Boothferry Park and moved to their current home in 2002. Boothferry Park has been demolished and has been replaced by a housing development. They traditionally play in black and amber, often with a striped shirt design, hence their nickname The Tigers. The club's mascots are Roary the Tiger and his sister Amber.

History and description
The KC Stadium replaced Hull’s old stadium Boothferry Park. First plans for the construction of a new stadium were made in the late 1990s, and building works started in 2001. The stadium officially opened on the 18th of December 2002 with a match between Hull City and Sunderland (1-0).
Construction of The KC Stadium cost £44 million and was financed by the city of Hull, who therefore also own the stadium. The stadium is easily expandable to a capacity of about 30,000.
Getting thereThe KC Stadium is located about a mile west of Hull’s city centre and main rail station. The walk to the stadium should take no more than 20 minutes. Alternatively there are buses that run over Anlaby Road.
If arriving by car and approaching the city from the M64 motorway, follow the A63 into the city. Exit the A63 just before the fly-over following the signs for Local Traffic/Infirmary. From there follow the signs to the KC Stadium.
