Cant make it tonight, so i thought i would watch it on the telly, where is the red button????

The commentary is in welsh cant understand a bloody word, yet most supporters live in Cardiff and the surrounding valleys don't speak welsh, what going on ????? bloody joke

There isn't commentary at a live game though? So why does it matter if its in our national language or not?

I can't even watch it as I don't live in Wales anymore, maxing do with Player commentary.

I live in Wigan - Channel 134 on Sky shows S4C. I wont say Im enjoying it but Im watching it!

Turned the volume to the TVs off.
Listening to some music to accompany the game. A mixture of The Benny Hill theme tune interrupted with the funeral march for whenever Whitts has the ball. Constantly checking inside and playing it backwards killing the game.
Garbage.

If this was a rugby match there would be English commentary on the red button.

Just can't understand their thinking, just how are we going to encourage the fans back ???

BBC website, click on tv at the top menu, then scroll through the channels (past BBC one, two, alba, etc) may have to click to view all of them, and S4C is there

Thankfully, they take pride in their capital city. Not sure why though, the team is shit and most of our fans are English bellends these days

Just for your information, the vast majority of Cardiff City fans speak ENGLISH as their first language !
Wales is OUR country right ? We are all fiercely patriotic when it comes down to it right ? So why do we have a commentary on OUR team in a language we simply DONT UNDERSTAND ?? Especially when, every Saturday you can watch a Welsh premier game on S4C and have the choice to listen to the commentary in either ENGLISH or WELSH at the touch of a red button !!
This is active discrimination against English only speakers.
Every council in Wales has to provide documents in both English and Welsh by law, so how are S4C allowed to get away with this ?

Tried to watch on BBC I player, suddenly heard fans cheering and realised that picture was 7 minutes behind the commentary. If it wasn't for S4C I would have been able to go to the game on Saturday as originally planned. Tossers.

The red button on s4c only gives you subtitles, if you want english commentary you have to watch on sky 134 and then use the language option, welsh or english

The only reason s4c were able to show the game was because the commentary would be in Welsh. They would not have been allowed to broadcast the game with English commentary.

Besides, you wouldn't have commentary if you were at the match, so why the fuss?

With all the shit commentators these days it's usually much better to watch the match with the sound off. Especially Radio Wales. I always listen to it with the sound off now!

Same here, and I'll only watch S4C with the picture turned off and the sound on mute. First time in a while their viewing figures run in to double numbers, and they transmit in a language the majority don't understand.

Thanks to S4C the game was moved, so we lost half the fans we would have got and the pitch would have been less waterlogged and we may have won and never brought Slades demise a step closer.
