Did we put a sell on clause

In the Aaron Ramsey sale ?

Being linked with a move to Barcelona now there transfer embargo is up along with John Stones

I am trying to think when we sold him and if this was under Sam or Peter and was the reason for sale due to a winding up order from HMRC or was this another occasion

I remember going to meetings at Ninian with Sam when we had the fire sales but could not remember if this was one

Does anyone remember the muni meeting when blazing saddles had his day ?

No

No sell on clause, we sold him for £5m but accepted £4.8m paid up front, so no clauses at all

How do sell on clauses work?If we had one on Ramsey and and he was 4 years in to a 5 year contract then signed an improved deal as he already has,would this rule out his sell on clause?

If he goes to a foriegn club we still get a small percentage of the transfer as development costs. Trouble is we sold him so young he won't be worth that much to us.
