i think Blackburn brought so many than they did to us is because all our fans are unpassionate and not much atmosphere and i think that matters a lot to away fans looking for a good day outStringfellow wrote:I include CCFC and myself in this, and we know there are many reasons for decline in away and home support. Do you think or have you got bored visiting the same old grounds over and over? It think it becomes stale, excluding our one year in the prem it's the same teams and grounds with the exception of a few year on year.
Our first 5 years or more the hawthorns and molineuxs of the world excited me, a step up, bigger better and more importantly different. It's only recently I have thought maybe a trip to Exeter, Chesterfield or a different ground gets the pulse racing more than the annual trip to St andrews. Am not a fan who would rather be in the lower division, and maybe this year the fa cup will attract a decent following from us ( if we don't draw a championship club )
I see Blackburn had double travelling down against cewnty than they brought to the CCS is that the love of the fa cup or is the attraction of something different.
Our best away support last few years has come at teams that aren't quite what we are used to, Bournemouth, Mk Dons prime examples. Even Shrewsbury pre season, let's hope we aren't playing them again soon.
