I can't fault Slade for 'trying' Revell in the Championship, but it didn't work and that is a shame for player, manager and fans alike!

If Slade is starting to "get the message" on certain players, then that can only be a good thing and I hope that will now include giving certain other 'squad' members a go, e.g. Kennedy and maybe even the lad Tamas

We'll never know how good they might be unless we try them and (if I'm being honest) my expectations for the rest of this season are not overly ambitious, so we may as well look at the future

Revell just not good enough and macheda sadly too injury prone looks like we are trimming the squad right down hopefully to get a few decent signings that will push us on

It's the best for him and the club, I personally think the guy is really top bloke off the field and a good character just a shame it didn't work out for him here.. he works hard but doesn't have that edge on him like Kenwyne does, Revell for the type of striker he is needs to pose a threat aerial wise and needs to bully the oppositions defence which he doesn't do much of.

No doubt this is one of Slades not so good signings but luckily we didn't pay much and it's not one we can really cry over financially.

Along with Macheda, I do wish he was used more but sadly he is injury prone and be better off without.. but in this current time we will be left with Mason and Watt as actual senior strikers with experience.. personally think if we do get rid of these two (Revell and Macheda) we should recall Le Fondre.

There's always an excuse for Slade, usually how much he's saved us, but signing players we don't use and then sell for less, or loan to other clubs isn't saving money!!!
