Didn't Bournemouth offer £6m last January and Brum turned them down?

Correct and Leicester activated a clause which I didn't understand why couldn't Bournemouth do it?

He signed a new deal in the summer and insisted on this clause

Doesn't make sense.

Why offer him a new contract when he's left for less than the year previous?

Fulham offered £5m for dunk and we offered an improved 5 year contract and he'll only leave if someone offers £8-10m plus add ons and not a penny less.

They didn't offer 6m and he only had a year left on his contract in the summer so the player and agent held all the aces.

They agreed to a but out clause rather than let him leave following summer and go to tribunal.

They could have just taken the 4m offered last January but then he helped keep them up and kick on this season so no real harm done.
