I think further player sales were always happening only way I think we wouldn't be further balancing the books is if we were top 2

Anything else and I'm adamant it would have happened and the board were always going to say playoffs was our ambition as what else would they say , we are gonna rip the squad apart for the second season running but please pay £600 for your season tickets?

However I do agree with most of your post that we are only one or two quality players from the playoffs and maybe a better manager would have got us challenging higher but it is a maybe I do think however some rate our squad better than it is Barr a few of them there's not many that would command significant fees

I haven't changed my mind on Slade I've conceded that Slade will be here as long as Tan wants him no matter what the result but I'm not afraid to give him credit when its due like I said.
