The reason why it can be painful going to a match IMO

The person who sit behind us - yapping the whole way through the match, so loud but have the most depressing tone to thier voice. I would like to form my own opinions and interrpret the game how I would like to. Not to have to endure someone else's running commentary of the game. Many a time of late it has been painful watching the football but with the voice of the person behind, I feel like I want to jump! And the other thing is quite often this person is wrong in what they are saying, don't get me wrong I'm no expect but sometimes something will happen in the match like a player will make a mistake and then they will have a go at a completely different player who wasn't even involved. It is so annoying. I had to laugh when Mason scored yesterday as all they do is slate him constantly but funny that they celebrate when he scores! Yes I know Mason can be Abit slow at times but actually he is a good little player who I believe just needs more confidence - all the players have thier faults! He scored in the league cup final - did these fans hate him then too? And at the moment our other option is Macheda so I'd rather watch Mason and Watt. i love the chanting and noise that our fans make but this is different - this is droning on about the same old thing for which I can see most of the people around me are fed up of! So if you are this person, all I'm asking is if you can just tone it down about and add some enthusiasm to your comments please? Thanks

Two mates of mine,who used to sit in the Ninian stand had a similar experience and eventually they changed seats to get away from this particular man. I appreciate everyone's entitled to their opinion but not everybody needs to hear it.

Oh definitely, everyone can have thier own opinion and shout out every now and then - I dont mind that (any fan with a passion for thier club could do but it's just all the time, every game and we were in our current seats a lot longer than the person/people behind us. Will absolutely not be moving but can understand why people would. To be honest, I'm kind of hoping that if the football is that bad for them, they won't renew!

People throwing abuse at the manager annoy me the most. People who are silent for 99% of the games, then start swearing loudly when we concede. Get a grip ffs. It is more than a game, but have some common decency.

One of the main things that I think has turned people off is the early renewal during the premier league year.

The fans paid a PREMIUM in good faith, only for us to be relegated. In good faith when the club treated fans like shit during the rebrand. Openly lying to us.

That left a sour taste in many peoples mouths i think.

There are no glory premier league fans there any more just passionate city fans. We all show it differently.

The guy in front of me sits there dispassionately, never joins in the chants, I wonder why he goes. I on the other hand scream and shout. Our players go from world class to crap in minutes, its a release.

Worse thing ever is all seater stadiums without the option to stand. I was brought up with a gang of us standing together offering thoughts and banter within our group. I hate the theatre atmosphere.
