"Slade deserves credit"

Firstly, happy new year to all bluebirds, I hope 2016 is a happy and healthy year for you all. I felt that if Slade had lost today it would have probably been curtains for a manger that has never been given a fair chance. And after the first half where City created very little, I thought that the danger signs were clear to Slade.

And fair play, we played much better in the second half with Watt and Mason showing understanding and the midfield playing well off them. Blackburn were very poor and offered little resistance, and after Mason finished a well crafted move we were always in control.

The chnage of formation towards the end tightened things up well and anyone moaning about the style of football clearly didn't see the five minute period where Blackburn literally didin't touch the ball.

I think Slade deserves a lot of credit for today. He dropped KJ which many fans had called for and grafted out a win to start the new year.
