' Credit to Slade '

I'm not normally one to boo but at half time I did.

However in 2nd half we improved slightly and when we got the lead Slade had the balls to change things round and go 4-5-1 for last 10-15 minutes. He's had much stick for not changing things round but today he got it spot on. In last minute of normal time we kept ball for 40-50 passes.

Hopefully Slade will realise that he can change formation during games and maybe we can keep in touch with play offs

Agreed, we've cried out for this type of change a few times this season but he's always just switched a like for like upfront and given away late goals

Well it's January and he has only just realised that :digging2:

His reluctance to change things up have been my biggest crisism of him. My blood was boiling when he kept refusing to change things when we lost a 2 goal lead 3 times at home but I was more than happy seeing him bring on an extra body for the midfield today. Only thing I don't understand is Ameobi, how he's still at the club I will never know

The substitution suggested 4-5-1 but it really looked to me as though O'Keeffe was playing alongside watt/ameobi up front

I think it was a 4-5-1 defending and a 4-4-1-1 going forward :ayatollah:

Yeah! I'm no Slade fan but he's sorted out the crap midfield we had and is starting to show some flexibility. Kenwynne leaving might be a godsend. Come on Slade, show us what you're worth!

Well done Joe Mason today.

Chased everything and deserved his goal. He needs to do that every game now.
