I'm not one for excuses but I am surprised at the condition of our pitch given the same system is used by many notable others and precisely for the very reason that you should not see it in such a state as it is now. Today I could see that the ball would considerably slow from a 'ground' pass and that's not right. Also, I've seen players slipping as if their playing on a waterlogged regular grass pitch, No biggie, but again that's not what you expect when you invest in a hybrid pitch.
We all know that both teams have to play on the same pitch but if I had paid for an advanced 'all weather' pitch, that's what I'd expect. Sure, we've had a hell of a lot of rain but isn't that what precisely is the point of these professional pitch systems.
I'm not saying its cutbacks or anything else like that but our advanced system pitch from Desso Sports Systems looks like it needs major attention.

I'm thinking of grassing on them.
