The former Manchester City man joined brother Bradley in the Big Apple after being released by QPR at the end of last season
Former Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips is earning four times LESS than brother Bradley in the MLS with New York Red Bulls.
Salaries for each player in the league have been released, and the ex-England man earns just $116,000 a year, which converts at just over £75,700.
By comparison, former Southampton striker Bradley earns $600,000 a year, having established himself as one of the States' top marksmen.
Shaun was reported to be earning £3million a year during his time with QPR, which works out at more than £57,000 a week, just £20,000 less than what he knows earns annually.
Neither are close to the top earners in the league, after some of football's biggest names moved Stateside over the last couple of years.
Kaka tops the list, earning £4.3million, followed by ex-England midfielder partnership Steven Gerrard (£4.04m) and Frank Lampard (£3.91m).
David Villa and Robbie Keane also feature in the top 10, but there is no place for Andrea Pirlo or Didier Drogba.
Many players in the league are earning just $50,000 annually, which is less than £33,000, showing the huge discrepancy throughout the division.

If that's the wage we would be playing him then I think he's worth signing

He's 34, made his money and done absolutely f**k all for years.
It was pace that made him and does he have that anymore?
Does he have any drive left? He was happy to sit in the stand for years picking up 50k a week. What sort of drive is he going to have if he's on peanuts?
Give youth a chance ffs.
