"For me tomorrow,nothing less than"
Cardiff are without a win in the last three-matches, losing against Birmingham & MK Dons drawing the other with Nottingham Forest, with a positive result needed tomorrow...
For me tomorrow, nothing less than a win will be acceptable and not just because Blackburn are currently on a terrible run and have a team thats not been able to be strengthened through the transfer embargo, which has finally been lifted, but because our recent form against less than mediocre teams has been awful.
So for me Slade and the team owe the diehards a win at the very least.
I can honestly see the crowd turning big time against Russell Slade tomorrow if we don't get the win.

The pressure will be really on Russ if we don't win but i am confident we will win.

Not just the manager...I can see the fans starting to turn on the players as well...it's very frustrating being a city fan at present

Ryan, Big pressure from our fans, none from Tan.
But I am confidant we can not just win this ,but score a few goals against them,Blackburn really are awful at the moment.

We are due to thrash a team but i have said that a few times already and we haven't so hopefully we can finally do it this time.

This is a big fixture. If top 6 is to remain a target, not winning to a side in the doldrums would be nothing short of a disaster. Slade is again under the microscope. He had better get it right!!

better win its my 1st game in over a month!!!

Annis, if we don't win tomorrow then serious questions need to be asked as to how Slade is doing his job and motivating the players?
Have to agree, nothing less than a win will do but I said that before MK Dons and Forest.

Absolutely Annis. It's a new year, and us diehards must insist on a win. We've been settling for excuses but come on, it's a win for Slade or walk away Slade

Completely agree Annis.

Definitely need a win tomorrow or there'll be big questions asked of Russ by the diehards.
Personally I think we'll win comfortably, but I thought we'd win against Birmingham, MK Dons and Forest too, so who knows. Another big game tomorrow.........c'mon City!

Has to be a win today and in front of probably a record low crowd it's a definite MUST win against Shrewsbury or eise watch the Canton fans explode with rage!
Time is running out Russell and the New Year has oniy just started. Teza

No more excuses, only a win is good enough today. Cannot go on dropping points at home if we are to stand any chance of reaching the playoffs. The old adage is win your home games and get what you can in the away games. My prediction 3-1 to the City.

I think slade has a good team on paper some good players it's up to slade to manage the players and motivate them into a winning team.
Slades style of play for me is the problem 442 most of the time no plan be B and lets not forget this now slades team.
I do feel for him in that he's had an impossible job in reducing the wage bill and at the same time people demand success .
Overall he's done a fair job of it but I don't think he's the man to take us forward.
City fans like blood and guts all in performance don't think if seen it constantly if at all under slade.
Times have changed at city financially so we need to be more realistic in our expectancy.
The other important factor is VT nobody knows his long or short term plans for city.so even if a good tested manager is offered the job he will want money to spend so the current situation will not attract such a manager.
Parachute payments if I'm right go down next year so we will have to tighten the purss strings again.
Lots of uncertainty for me but it could be better with the players we have and be in the top 6 where most of think we should be or we could be worse and be bottom 3 so we have to be realistic going forward.
My biggest disappointment was appointed slade in the first place. If we had just gone for descent manager and they where out there maybe things would be different I think slades appointment was negative by ccfc and the wrong choice .we needed a lift as a club and a more positive manager would of brought us all together.
Good luck to all at ccfc including slade I really hope we win tomorrow like everyone says it has to be a win
