SUNDERLAND KEEN ON CAULKER
Sky Sports
Sunderland have approached QPR over the permanent signing of defender Steven Caulker, according to Sky sources.
The centre-half is currently on a season-long loan with Southampton but it is understood that if both clubs and the player agree, then he will be allowed to talk to Sam Allardyce's side.
Yesterday, Saints boss Ronald Koeman said he wanted to keep the player until the end of the season.
Koeman said: "My plan is that he stays until the end of the season, and then we need to make a decision."

Piss poor defender....every team he plays for leek goals...why on earth would any team want to buy him?

to be fair to caulker, he had his work cut out being the person tasked with holding a very shaky defence together when he was here. especially someone of his age.
he is a talented player, but after 4-5 seasons in the premier league he really should have progressed more.
