' TOMMY O'SULLIVAN AND JAZZI BARNUM-BOBB '

WOULD YOU CALL TOMMY BACK ?

NEWPORT County AFC manager John Sheridan is hopeful that he can persuade Cardiff City to let Jazzi Barnum-Bobb and Tommy O’Sullivan remain at Rodney Parade beyond tomorrow’s clash with Hartlepool United.

Both players have enjoyed successful loan periods with County since arriving from the Bluebirds in October but both are due to return to the capital after tomorrow’s game.

But Sheridan, who saw Scot Bennett recalled by Notts County on New Year’s Eve, wants to keep them both.

“Hopefully we get positive news but if they call the players back then we’ll look elsewhere,” he said.

“They’re here for Saturday and that will all be sorted out by the weekend.”

Pointless to bring him back.

Ralls, Gunner, KD, Whitts and even O'Keefe in front of him.

Let him get more games at County and monitor him closely

My next door neighbour is a County season ticket holder and can't sing the praises of both players enough. O'Sullivan especially is impressing and the more you hear of him the more you believe he is just what we are missing.

These are youngsters for the future and to further their development, I believe its time to re-call them back and aim to send them to a league one club for their footballing education.

Because it seems they have certainly adapted to the requirements of league 2 football and may need another challenge and to keep them on their toes.

Tough, I think staying there until the end of the season will be beneficial for them both.
