NEWPORT County AFC manager John Sheridan is hopeful that he can persuade Cardiff City to let Jazzi Barnum-Bobb and Tommy O’Sullivan remain at Rodney Parade beyond tomorrow’s clash with Hartlepool United.
Both players have enjoyed successful loan periods with County since arriving from the Bluebirds in October but both are due to return to the capital after tomorrow’s game.
But Sheridan, who saw Scot Bennett recalled by Notts County on New Year’s Eve, wants to keep them both.
“Hopefully we get positive news but if they call the players back then we’ll look elsewhere,” he said.
“They’re here for Saturday and that will all be sorted out by the weekend.”
