We desperately need fresh new ideas from a management team that will see things from a different perspective to the one dimensional Russell Slade and his goafers Paul Trollope and Scott Young.
Maybe a Manager who will sign players to play for the 1st team ! NOT someone who signs players to put on the bench for 10 games and then puts them out on loan, adding to our wage bill at a time when we are supposed to be cutting it.
Someone who is prepared to give our youngsters a chance if they are good enough, someone also who doesn't write a player off should that player dare to have a bad game. Someone who can give the players a real confidence boost each and every game, a manager who also takes the sensible option of selecting an outfield player as captain, a player who can get amongst his team mates making sure EVERY player is pulling their weight during the 90 mins !
Someone who is also prepared to manage from the stands and see the same things that we see during games !
How can anybody see what's going on all over the pitch when you're at ground level and you've got 20 players along with a complete dick of a ref and a couple of baldy fat unfit linesmen in your way ? You also get a far better perspective of how a game is going when you have a clear view of everything.
If the club are serious about improving our management set up and they struggle to find suitable candidates for the money on offer, then me and my mate Chrissie boy will be only too pleased to offer our services for around £45k each ( that's per year ok) But only on condition that we manage the team from our current seats in 115 and we get free season tickets for 5yrs. And we go back to our old Bluebird badge without the red worm on it.
Oh, and the club gives us brand new mobile phones so we can tell the minions down by the tunnel what the team have to do on the pitch. But that's all.
Happy new Year to you all.
