Paper Talk but with no ambition from the club could he be tempted away this January.

The Scotland international stopper is under contract with Cardiff until 2018 but could leave the Welsh club if the price is right
Could Marshall be set for a Premier League return?
Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall has emerged as a January target for Everton.
Everton fans are clamouring for a new ‘keeper to be brought in to replace Tim Howard as the number one at Goodison Park.
Howard is again under fire after Everton’s 4-3 defeat against Stoke City on Monday.
Marshall is under contract at Cardiff until the summer of 2018, having signed a four-and-a-half-year deal in February 2014.
However, he has Premier League ambitions, something the Welsh club cannot currently match.
Marshall did come close to joining West Bromwich Albion this summer.
But the deal fell through when Albion refused to meet Cardiff’s £5million valuation.

Would walk in to a lot of Premiership teams.
He deserves to play at the top level.
As long as it's a fair price and we get in a decent replacement then no complaints from me.

Deserves it, doubt many will begrudge him

I would not take much notice of this as Tim Howard is not under fire, he has already told Everton that he is going back to the states end of season, Everton have offered him a new contract, so if the paper has got this wrong, then they also have the bit about Marshall wrong, they are just adding old news

This would be a brilliant move for Marshall, a move to a really big well supported club. I'm sure no City fan would begrudge him this great opportunity
