It looks like Slade is saying 3 signings as a minimum.
I guess that includes Watt and Vela. That seems fair enough. I hope that the third is Worst Weghorn (or something like that), and KJ moves on. Maybe Ameobl should be returned to Newcastle as well(?). If this happens I think it will strenghthen the team in the longer term. It would be nice to see a new player with potential rather than an overpaid striker not giving 100% - infact nowhere near 100%!
If the Premiership is the aim (and that is a big if) It will also be interesting to see if we lose some others. Unlike some I dont think we have a very strong squad. We only have Marshall Manga and Ralls who could definitely play for a Premiership club.
As regards Slade..... I didnt expect him to do well. In all honesty City are doing better than I expected at Christmas.so maybe he deserves to carry on till the end of the season. That said, another thread it asks what does Slade say at half time? I havent got a scooby do...also some substitutions are baffling.
