Money to spend?

I read a few weeks ago a statement from our chairman that said if we were still in with a chance of the playoffs in January the purse strings would be loosened.

Now come 5pm on Saturday we could be 9 points off the last playoff place or we could be just 3 points adrift, but I can't see Tan opening his purse.

The club have agreed a fee of about a million for Watt so that will be one in, on the other hand if our current form carries on by the end of January I can see Jones, Manga and Noone being sold Connelly and Fabio being loaned out to reduce the wage bill.

I know I wouldn't give him a penny of my money to spend, would you?

The figure was 5 mill and that was because of how unlikely we would be in the play offs come Jan.

Tan has assured Slade that he can spend every penny that he can find down the back of the couch in the Chairman's lounge.
