Kelvin Wilson: Returns for Nottingham Forest
Cardiff have no new injury issues as they look to avoid a third straight Sky Bet Championship defeat over the festive period.
Manager Russell Slade could make a couple of changes for the meeting with Nottingham Forest but he remains without injured defender Sean Morrison (knee).
Craig Noone could have put himself in the frame for a recall after his goal from the bench at MK Dons while Fabio, Peter Whittingham, Joe Mason, Kagisho Dikgacoi and Stuart O'Keefe are also options for Slade.
