Idriss Saadi & Federico Macheda

So we signed an injured Idriss Saadi from Clermont Foot and he only managed 13 minutes of action before being ruled out for "6 weeks". We still haven't heard anything else on whether he has recovered or whether he is expected to be injured for a while longer. He looked pretty sharp during that brief stint on the pitch!

Macheda has been out for a while too. City were forced into asking Man Utd for a 'cure' to Federico's persistent back problem. He underwent back surgery back in September and was expected to be out for 10 weeks... Still, there has been no news on him either. It has now been 15 weeks since this operation...

Does anyone have any updates on Idriss' & Federico's injuries?

Idriss will be back in the cup game and Kiko is fit and available as far as i know hopefully Jones is dropped for him.

Macheda was on the bench a few games ago but wasn't yesterday or at Birmingham if I remember right? Has he had another set back?

I don't think he is injured again just not been included in the team for some reason but hopefully Slade puts him in ahead of Jones against Forest.

Agreed. Lazy but has skill on the ball, if he ran more he could finally live up to his name.
