What a special night that was, watched the game from the old Grange end. The atmosphere was electric, if I remember correctly, a huge crowd turned up in response to Malcolm Allison, then Palace manager, saying we could not get a crowd of 25,000 at Ninian park. He got quite a bit of stick that night!

If I remember correctly, we won 2-0, Alan Campbell, what a player he was, and Dougie Livermore scored the goals that night. Both were scored at the Canton Stand end of the ground as far away from me and mates as possible.

I was 16 at the time, rapidly approaching my O level examinations in that scorching hot summer to follow. Great memories, I hope I have recalled them correctly but happy to be corrected.

Balkanblue will probably tell me I am a deluded, brainwashed fan supporting the dictates of the Tan regime but I am still there supporting my home City team.

I don't give enough of a shit about you to pass comment on you in other posts. I'll respond to you when you feel compelled to mention me, but thats about as much as you're getting from me, the very minimum amount of my attention, because its all you deserve. You on the other hand seem to be obsessed with mentioning me at any opportunity, as outlined above, which is hilariously sad considering you seem to be a man of what one would think is a mature age, seeing as you mentioned doing O Levels in years gone by. It appears they've gone to no use as rather than focusing on the things that matter, such as a family life and relishing moments with any children, you would rather obsess, pester and bother young men online. One can only assume you are having a mid life crisis and need help. Its a bit weird if you ask me. Even weirder considering I'm not much of a looker and one really has to question your taste. Maybe you and some others on here can start a little chat support group on here and learn to get over the obvious butt hurt that appears to flowing through every crevice of your bodies. I, on the other hand, will continue to express my opinion as I see fit, in a wonderful Europe that allows freedom of speech, and will not be deterred by dinosaurs who wish to silence those they disagree with like some backward petulant dictator from the middle ages. Ciao.

I thought you were a recent convert to the Policies of Nigel Farage and his UKIP party? Or was that another petulant, pedantic phase you went through? I'm sure they are not so keen on Europe as you are.

You continue to post anti- cardiff diatribe on here and quite scandalously accuse long term supporters such as myself of simply being brainwashed by the billions of Tan, just because we buy tickets and support our team.

Believe me young man, I am neither obsessed or even bothered by you in the slightest! I just find it amusing, that one with such a satisfied life, continues to post nonsense about steam he no longer gives a damn about. I can on,y conclude that your motivation is to try to get bites from people who do care about their team. A sad state of affairs!

Buy a ticket! Watch a game! Get motivated by a sport you ante supposed to have some passion about. It makes enjoying the other more important things in life more enjoyable.

No. I agree with some of what he says, and think the EU should deal with it in other ways, that is for certain, but haven't supported UKIP in a long time. The man talks sense at times. At other times, he talks utter rot. In the long term I think Woolfe would be a better leader of UKIP but thats just my two cents on that.

No, because many took scarves during scarfgate and wore them with complete pride. People had red scarves around their necks loving every moment of it. I have a right to feel both bitter and sick about that. Considering, as many know, that was the last game I attended, I think thats fair. The were people like JonCCFC, Scott, and others, Baked (a mod for all the clashes I've had with him, actually held his stance throughout rigidly), who even during the times of red, outright refused to buy or wear that crap, come through on the other side with their pride intact.

If I recall correctly, Jon Candy even captioned photos with 'a sea of red' on that night. I remember looking at those very pictures on here during the days afterwards. Disgusting. It was no lie or mistake. It was exactly that. People lapped up the red and I know for a fact others like Annis can state emphatically that many took those free scarves and wore them and held them up with pride. This isn't myth or legend, it happened.

Pot, kettle........

You are guilty of the same thing in regard to myself. I'm here to discuss my feelings and opinions on the club. I'm as free to do that as you or anyone else are also.

I do buy tickets, but not for Cardiff City. I watch the club local to me often and thats it. I wouldn't watch Cardiff if I still lived there. I'm most certainly not going to pay £100+ per game to travel to the UK to watch Tan's sick rebrand club. Not for me thanks, but if thats what makes you tick, continue as you're doing. As I said, I have had enough, but it wont stop me speaking out on the matter.

The fans in the long term will get the club they deserve, and when you get that club, the words of people like myself, TLG and many others like Annis will come back to haunt those who refused to listen and just continued to bury their heads in the sand.
