Sammy Ameobi is on a season long loan at City but if City had the option of ending the loan agreement early would you send him back to Newcastle ?

From what I have seen I don't think Ameobi is anywhere near the hype that surrounded his move and the money we spend is wasteful to say the least, if City could send him back then I think that would be a sound move for us, financially and giving another prospect a chance.

If City couldn't bring another wide player in then I don't think that would be detrimental as Ameobi has offered little to the cause apart from a couple of impact substitute cameos earlier in the campaign.

I would prefer to see young Matty Kennedy given a chance to build on the success he had last season.

Wouldn't see no point in it tbh as spade won't play the up and coming youngsters.id rather spade go than any of the team

Why not try to get players like Kennedy, Macheda and so on match fit? Make the best of what we got, rather than always compensate for Slades short comings looking for other options? Loved the interview with Klop the other day, saying he would make do with what he got, and not waste money in an expensive January window. He was looking to get the team playing their strengths. I know its a long way from Klop to Spade, but there is some truth in there. We have all the quality needed, but they are not played to their strengths..

Kennedy was sharp towards the end of last season! You don't make it through academy's at Everton etc. If u don't have something about you!

Kennedy looks like he has potential to make a very good championship player .
I was expecting him to be first choice this season dont know why he hasnt had a chance this year, we need to develope players from under 21 squad not let them stagnate in under 21 league.
Ameobi is a waste of money not fit no end product whoever decided we should sign him cannot have watched him play before .

Most people saying send him him back and so would I if we had the option but it's likely his contract is for the season with no option to send him back or for Newcastle to take him back.
There were also rumblings that his contract stated he must be involved in the match day squad if fit which would probably increase the likelihood of the above.

Of course you would. Nothing I have seen suggests he is a championship striker or wide midfielder. We must be wiping hundreds of thousand pounds off his value every week that goes by that shows he can't fit a traditional 442

I think there out on loan now but will play next season reason being we are cost cutting plus we got players leaving weather there contracts up or sold a good few will be moving on and the cheaper option comming in which falls in to plan next season I think

I just hope, for his sake, his love life isn't like his football because if it is then its going to be 90 minutes of teasing and no actual sex.

He needs to stop trying to show off and impress people and focus on getting the simple things done properly.

Kennedy is a forgotten man, yet has done nothing wrong.....He hasn't had a chance! I would pick him for the squad ahead of Ameobi every time.

I wouldn't send him back as we signed him on a one year loan contract and to send him back we would no doubt have to compensate his parent club or still have to pay his wages anyway

He shouldn't start a game but is still an option from the bench with 5 minutes to go when we have one sub left and theres only 3 keepers as an option apart from him on the bench. I'd then give old chicken legs a go.

He'd be fine in League 1 and 2 just like JET but no way is he fit/consistent/good enough for the top two leagues

I'm bucking the trend here. Ameobi is a confidence player and an impact player (as already stated).
1. Our 'so called' management team need to help the lad get some confidence back.
2. Put him on the bench and give him a chance to make an impact.
3. Play him in a 433. He's not an out and out winger FFS

I like him only as a sub, but he is keeping Matt Kennedy out, a player who is capable of doing great things, so yes, send him back. Get Tom back now as well!
