I've always stood up for slade and thought positively

But enough is enough. We are not serious play off contenders not on the current results. Yes the squad play really well and seem to dominate games but often the second half is handed over to the opposition. What is happening In The half time team talk?
Unlike many people I have wanted slade to do well because I want Cardiff city to do well but its just not happening. Where's the team spirit? If we had believe and spirit we could see out games when we are drawing or winning.

In my opinion one of our best players is Fabio? - where is he? Ameobi is a great impact player (on occasions) but not a starter in games. Why is he starting games? I also saw Noone come into a great spell of late - why is he suddenly on the bench all the time?

i now think Slade needs to go - seriously! We have given him more than a fair chance now and we have tried a manager perhaps on less money and less experience - a bit of a gamble and occasionally that pays off but not in this case. The club need a tried and tested experienced manager now and need to get more quality in otherwise we are a club with not a lot of ambition but to stay stalemate in the championship. nothi g is ever guaranteed of course but it gives us the best chance at achieving something. Our fans had quite frankly a rubbish year in the premierleague with relegation (apart from a few matches such as the man city match) and we are now well into our 3rd year of feeling low. Slade shows promise on occasions but In my opinion he has taken us as far as he can. He has prevented relegation further and perhaps steadied the rocky times that OGS created but his time should now be up.

Absolutely no point in giving him this window, he won't be here next season.

Let the next manager have the rest of the season to see who is needed or not

Agree with the OP. Today was the straw that broke the camels back for me regarding Slade. I know he's had to slash the wage bill and get rid of players with the wrong attitude, but the current squad is still good enough to be in the play offs. Today's result has finally hit home to me that Slade must go, he's out of his depth.

Why not? :laughing6: he is a young manager who got Wycombe on a shoe string that was almost relegated the season before within a whisker of promotion to league 1 .....wait a minute that reminds me of something :? :laughing6:

He was and average footballer and and an average manager.

He took over Wycombe after they just got relegated from the league above so I don't know what you're talking about when you say he saved them from relegation?!??

His first full season wasn't good i have to say he he just about stopping them from going out of the football league and rebuilt the squad on very little money and almost getting promotion last season and are doing well they are in the play offs this season so worth a punt id say. :thumbright:

Sterile, uninspiring, boring many adjectives to sum up his reign.
He needs to go now and the new manager given until the end of season to understand where we need to strengthen.
Another loss on Tuesday to forest and hopefully the trigger will be pulled.

No he isn't. He's not playing a brand of football even close to the Championship. He's just a heart on the sleeve type of guy, same as when he was a footballer, but lacks the tools to ever make the step up.

He was also a massive yes man in that QPR documentary and we'd end up with Tan and his son picking the team.

Sack him now when we got a little time to find a manager and get one or two quality signings to get us up that's all we need to be in the mix
