By Nadeem Badshah
Last Updated: 26/12/15

Derby County climbed to the top of the Sky Bet Championship after a 2-0 win at home to managerless Fulham.

The Rams were victorious courtesy of a second-half own goal from Tim Ream, who turned in Johnny Russell's cross, before Jacob Butterfield scored late on.

Paul Clement's side are a point clear of Middlesbrough, whose game with Blackburn Rovers was postponed due to the wet weather.

Hull City are up to third following a 3-0 win over Burnley.

Jake Livermore lashed the ball in from Sam Clucas' cross to open the scoring for the Tigers in the 57th minute before Abel Hernandez doubled the lead nine minutes later.

Clucas wrapped up a comfortable win in injury-time to keep Steve Bruce's side within three points of Derby.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is still looking for his first win as Queens Park Rangers manager after Luke Chambers scored in stoppage time to give Ipswich Town a 2-1 win at Portman Road.

Junior Hoilett headed in Matty Phillips' cross on the stroke of half-time to put the Rs ahead, although Jonathan Douglas' over-head kick in the 77th minute looked to have secured a point for Mick McCarthy's men.

However, Town snatched a dramatic victory in the second minute of added-time when Chambers headed in at the back post to keep them in sixth place, while Rangers remain in 12th spot.

Sheffield Wednesday had the biggest win in the Championship after thrashing Birmingham City 3-0 at Hillsborough.

Fernando Forestieri scored a brace, with his goals coming on 37 and 48, either side of Kieran Lee's 39th-minute strike for the Owls.

The win means Wednesday remain in seventh place in the table, while the Blues slip to 10th position.

Brighton and Hove Albion are down to fourth place after being held to a 0-0 draw by Brentford at Griffin Park.

It was the Bees' first goalless draw in 60 matches and moves them up to ninth place.

The Seagulls had 'keeper David Stockdale to thank for the point after two full-length saves near the end from Jake Bidwell and Alan Judge.

Josh Murphy scored a 90th-minute winner to give MK Dons a 2-1 victory over Cardiff City.

Craig Noone looked to have given the Bluebirds a point with a fine curling effort on 81 after Nicky Maynard had given the Dons the lead with a low shot from inside the area in the 49th minute.
Murphy's heroics keep the Dons above the drop zone, while the Bluebirds are in eighth spot.

Bristol City remain in relegation trouble after a 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic at Ashton Gate.

Nathan Baker put the Robins ahead with a header from Luke Freeman's cross deep into first-half stoppage time, but Harry Lennon snatched a point for the Addicks three minutes into second half added time.

James Henry scored against his former club to give Wolverhampton Wanderers a 1-0 victory over Reading at Molineux.

Henry scored with a first-half header to hand manager Brian McDermott his first loss since returning to the Royals.

Rotherham United piled on the misery for Bolton Wanderers and their boss Neil Lennon with a 4-0 triumph in a relegation battle.

Grant Ward, Danny Ward, Joe Newell and Jonson Clarke-Harris all netted in the second half at the New York Stadium for the Millers to move them clear of the drop zone on goal difference, while Bolton remain bottom.

Nahki Wells scored twice as Huddersfield Town beat Preston North End 3-1 at the John Smith's Stadium.

The striker made it seven goals with for the season strikes on 38 and 55 before Emyr Huws netted on his return from injury on 76.

The result moves Huddersfield into 19th place, three behind Preston, who scored a late consolation goal through Adam Reach.

Very true Annis, people are quick enough to criticize others but make no effort in making new threads...

Find it ridiculous how some people get joy out of slagging off this forum and it's moderators.

People have no idea how much time and effort Annis, Carl, Mason and the rest of us put into this forum.

As you well know, the original post has now been heavily edited to now include information from other sites which make it interesting. The original post had no such content but has now been changed to suggest that it was far better than it was.

This forum often contains good football discussion but still has a regular habit of editing posts to favour friends and discourage critics.
