Fond memories of Curtis, to be fair - he used to coach me on Saturday mornings when I was a kid. That said, they're fucked if he stays in charge the whole season.

You won't find a nicer bloke than him , good bloke when he played for barry town always had time for the fans ,i think he will keep them up ,he is no mug he has been in the game a long time ,i know that don't always make you a good manager but he seems to have his head screwed on ,if you know what i mean .

Only had 2 games in charge and from what I have seen of them they look capable of staying up under him.

Unlucky to lose to Man City although their game against West Ham was a dull affair. Think it will be enough though to remain in the premier.

They are doomed

I think this would be a mistake. We have improved ten-fold under him, but that is simply because we had become so awful under Monk. Curtis seems to have adopted tactics used prior to this season, which is obviously preferred by everyone hence the improvement, but we still look quite meek up front. I think any good manager of pedigree would keep us up quite comfortably, an inexperienced one may just end up being in a scrap. Rumour has it that we are looking for someone until the end if the season for Brendan to take the reigns after his settlement with his ex wife.

It is not a definite that Alan Curtis will take over for the rest of the season, it is just paper talk based on what he has said in interviews, Quote " I am quite happy to to take over for as long as the club needs me to, it could be before the next game or until the end of the season, I will do what needs to be done but we need to get the right person in" unquote

The top and bottom line is for all their nice footballers they haven't got a goal scorer and that's the problem for any manager who takes them over.

They had Bony on fire last year and year before, and Michu banging them in the season before that.

They screwed up paying Gomis a kings ransom to sign for them and if they don't get a striker in who's gonna get them 10 goals between January and end of season then they could very well join that long list of clubs who were apparently "too good" to go down.

Swansea also not helped by the fact that teams expected to do poorly, like Leicester City, are flying.

Was in the end to the left behind that goal. Curtis will always have a place in my heart after that goal and the manic celebrations after the goal.

He also stuck his hand up my skirt before the final game of the season away to Burnley but that's another story.....
