' 1986 Cardiff Fans away at Hartlepool '

Cardiff fans in the Grandstand at Hartlepool seconds before it kicked off. 1986 our first ever match in the old 4th Division. There was about 15 of us in the top part of the Grandstand against dozens of either Boro or Hartlepool in the lower section., it was the main news on the Itv that night as game was delayed for 20 minutes.
Hartlepool were also on the right of us, we held back by throwing seats, but eventually we got smashed.

We went by transit van remember it kicking off all over the place. Some newcastle fans in the pub with us looking for boro. weird day cardiff hartlepool boro newcastle. quite a few cardiff on the train that day
